On 1 December 1914, the joint-stock company called “Officine Alfieri Maserati” was built in Bologna. Since then, Maserati has always represented an important part of the history and culture of the sports car.
Over almost a century, there have been periods rich in successes on the track and the road and periods of difficulties that contributed to shape the character and personality of the company.
The transfer from Bologna to Modena, at the current plant in Ciro Menotti Avenue, happened in 1940. Since then, the brand became the pride of the city.
You can admire the Collection of some Maserati vintage cars at the museum CUP (Umberto Panini collection), a few km from Modena.
